Sports photography

I may be doing my first game. (High school basketball) I will be shooting for a set fee plus fee for any photo's ordered. My question is in a case like this who generally owns copyrights to the photo's? Any answers or tips on shooting is greatly appreciated. Nancy Inman

Unless specified otherwise in the contract, you the photographer owns the copyright.
