I am currently having family problems with my 24 year old son. He is all I have. I have many, many photos from horse shows, and other general interests. I have 35 mm negative film (before digital) and I am wondering what can I do with these in the event of my death? I am not sick but I am wanting to be prepared. My son would just throw all of this stuff away. And, I know my photos can make money with the right marketing. I do have a website now, Jansphotos.fototime.com. of many horse related activities. But, I am hoping someone has a suggestion of how I can preserve my photos and negatives for any future grandchild I may have so that my son won't get these ,, my pictures are precious to me. But, I have gobs and gobs of old photos from my negatives in books, albums, etc. I don't have a scanner right now. And, my funds are limited at this time. Any suggestions as to what agency I could leave my photos with in a trust? Any ideas from anyone? I could just leave them to Photo Source. If I never have a grand child, then I can have any money made go to a charity or organization. I just don't know. I talked with a lawyer today so she is going to try to come up with something, too. But, I would like some much needed advice from everyone and anyone.
Thanks,
Jan , Nashville, TN (it's cold here, too, but no snow!)
